Last Saturday I told you about the Knit One, Save One campaign, which is currently running here in the UK. While it is important to support the NHS with crochet blood drops, it is even more important to give some of the “real” juice and spread the word worldwide. So why not make the whole process a little bit more fun with a buddy, who can keep you company while doing something good? Let me introduce you to my new friends Mr. and Mrs Blood Drop :)

Mr and Mrs. Blood Drop Pattern

You’ll need:

  • DK yarn in red (I used Paton Fab DK in cherry for mine, which I think has the perfect “blood drop” colour)
  • DK yarn in black and purple (or any other colour of your choice)
  • 3.5 mm hook
  • 2.5 mm hook
  • polyfill
  • 4 wobbly eyes
  • tapestry needle

Finished size: ~ 14 cm

The whole project is done in rounds, do not join at the end
