It’s Tuesday, which means that it’s CAL time again :) As I told you last week I joined a CAL and the first square was soo much fun! Was hard to wait for the second one. I must say Kimberly did a great job again in choosing a pattern for week 2. Even though the square is classed by the designer Melinda Miller as intermediate, I would say it’s more like an advanced beginner. The only really special stitch in this square is the popcorn stitch, so when you’re able to do that one you’ll be more than fine with this square. Anyways for everyone who wants to join the CAL, it’s still not too late to say hello to the Official CCC Social Group on Facebook, they’ll get you all the info you need and also post the pattern of the week every weekend (and they’re are a lovely bunch of people who help you with all crochet related questions, so even if you don’t want to join the CAL it’s worth joining the group!).

  1. These blocks are so pretty! I think I might have to join in this CAL. I love how you show the photos of each step. It really helps beginners like me because I can ‘see’ exactly what it should be like. Love your blog :-D
