One of my resolutions for this year is to get to grips with my WIP stash. At least reduce it a little bit (if possible). If you follow me on Instagram you might have seen that I actually started another blanket the other day. I blamed it on the fact that I ran out of yarn for the one I was actually working on and I didn’t really feel in the mood for sewing in ends on the other one. Think that was enough of a reason to not really break my New Years resolution there ;)
On a positive note my Sophie’s Universe journey continues. Also this part shows actually were I stopped working on it at the old place back in April!!! and went back on in our new castle:
Sophie’s Universe- Part 8
Find the free pattern on Dedri’s wonderful blog (click here!)
I’m using:
- 4 mm hook
- Cascade Ultra Pima in Natural, Buff, Sage and Purple Ice
therefore my Sophie is going to be somewhere between Dedri’s small and medium version.
Round 62: Natural
Round 63: Buff (yeah this is the last round with the dodgy carpet in the background :))
Round 64: Purple Ice
Round 65: Sage
Round 66: Purple Ice
Round 67-68: Natural
I only realised when putting this post together that I somehow missed out on taking a whole Sophie snapshot by the end of part 8 :( So I have to skip on that one this time.
I hope I’ve inspired you to make your own Sophie if you haven’t started so far! (Which I’m guessing is rather unlikely as it’s such an amazing piece of art!)
