I finally made it! Ticked another project from my WIP list! It’s been on there for WAYYYYY too long. Must have been over 6 months ago when I told Dedri, that I’m making one of her puzzle balls… And no they’re not that difficult to make I just got distracted along the way (and guess it also didn’t help that the project was spread over my two “homes”).
I used a 5 mm hook and Drops Paris in strong yellow, rusty red, medium purple, light purple, and pistachio for my puzzle ball. Hope you’re enjoying seeing some pictures I took along the way. I’ve got still a flu-damaged brain so I’ll let some pictures speak today.
A pile of wedges ready for some flowers.
First combo red/yellow
And the last combo yellow and purple.
And then everything was ready to be puzzled together.
I really enjoyed making this puzzle ball. It is a surprisingly heavy ball, which through the different segments can still be picked up by a 1-year-old without any problems (even though she might not be able to actually use it at a puzzle at the moment). If you want to make one of your own puzzle balls hop over to LookatwhatImade and grab the free pattern. It’s very well written like all of Dedri’s patterns.
Have a lovely week!
